The Alliance for the Golden Years stems fromthe Ravasi Garzanti Foundation’scommitment to building a new urban welfare system dedicated to longevity. It is a civic and generative pact that goes beyond a simple assistance program to transform vulnerability and needs into opportunities for community, solidarity, and social innovation.
The Alliance for the Golden Years is a civic pact based on the idea of a city that, through collective participation, is able to take care of itself and the lives of its citizens, which have been reshaped by longevity.
The longevity is not a problem with a solution. It is an ongoing transformation —demographic, cultural, and civil—that constantly changes the questions even before the answers.
TheAlliance for the Golden Years was born out of this awareness and is evolving alongside the transformation it seeks to support.
The Manifesto outlines what we want to build. The construction site shows how we want to operate. But we’re planning “how” together with our Allies because we believe that the way something is built is already part of that thing.
It is a cultural choice before it is an organizational one. The construction site is open because the Alliance belongs to all those who live there.
The Alliance grows thanks to those who choose to join it.
